Located in Chavignol, a small hamlet a few kilometres from Sancerre, Claire and Raphaël run a family estate in the very heart of the village at the foot of the Côte des Monts Damnés. 25% of the total surface area of our estate is planted with Pinot Noir to produce our Sancerre Rouge and Sancerre Rosé and the remaining 75% planted with Sauvignon Blanc to produce our Sancerre Blanc.
Our viticultural practices are rational, based on rigorous observation and precise diagnosis. The most important thing is the well-being of our vines, which is essential if we are to produce beautiful grapes while reducing our carbon footprint. That's the challenge we face every day.
Our Sancerre Rosé «Chavignol» is elaborate from Pinot Noir vines, half of which come from Chavignol, the other half from the village of Verdigny. The terroir, composed of chalky clay, gives this wine plenty of freshness and liveliness.
+Our Sancerre Rouge «Chavignol» is elaborated from Pinot Noir vines. The limestone and clay soil gives our wine its structure.
+Our Sancerre Blanc «Chavignol» comes from the hillsides of Chavignol and Verdigny. Most of the soils are clay-limestone. Work is carried out to control yields (grassing between the rows, use of organic fertilisers).
+Our Sancerre «Silex» is harvested from a single and unique plot in the commune of Saint-Satur. This renowned terroir gives the wine a remarkable minerality and an exceptional potential.
+Our Sancerre «La Côte des Monts Damnés» comes from one of the most prestigious hillsides in the Sancerrois region. Located on the outskirts of the hamlet of Chavignol, the soil is strewn with fossilized shells (snail shells).
